Revelations

Revelations

We all have revelations, life changing thoughts or something that can change your whole outlook on well anything…

The problem is we dont always know that we have them, or we think yeah this great but then forget it

Revelations come from anywhere they can happen when were driving, in the shower, meditating, daydreaming, listening to something, watching something… you get the point

But we need to write that stuff down, so we don’t forget it and then return back to our default state.

Be open to your revelations In 2021

Because the battles we fight are on the inside

I call myself a Peaceful Warrior because the battles we fight are on the inside

  • Socrates

The battles may be internal, Stress, Depression, Loneliness, Anxiety etc. But they could be caused by external events,

Actually, during researching and writing an ebook on depression I realised that mostly they are caused by externals, The way with live today is so different than what we evolved from but our underwiring is still same,

Having a Philosophy can help but if you don’t turn the gas off, your probably not going to stop the fire.

Operating Systems

Operating Systems

They are the lively hood of any tech gadget, any video game and anything in the digital world.

Operating systems are always changing, improving and innovating, That’s why you probably throw out your phone every 12-18 months to upgrade it for the fancier version…

If a tech company introduced a new device with a poor operating system that was difficult to use the company would go bust, Becuase nobody wants a poor slow device…

Yet we function on an operating system too and most often in today’s day and ages our Operating systems are far from supersmooth and reliable,

Yet even me whos writing this at this moment in time I have a dull aching pain running from my hip to part of my lower back because I have neglected to improve or fix the glitch in my operating system.

The question is

Why are we quick to improve our gadgets but not ourselves?

Why are we quick to offer other people advice on how to improve theirs but we don’t follow our own advise?

Each Change A Death

Each Change A Death – Marcus Aurelius

Each change brings about chaos from our normal world, Chaos of the unknown, Chaos of discomfort and Pain,

Each time we descend into this unknown world, We die a little,

We die a death…

A death of our old self.

A death of the way we used to do things

A death of the way we used to think…

And from those deaths we are reborn…

But life is ever-changing so we are forever dieing

& If you’re not adapting you will forever live in a world of Chaos.

‘If you’re not growing – Your dying’ – Tony Robbins

You can’t rely on your mood to get you where you need to be

You can’t rely on your mood to get you where you need to be

‘I’ve just got to be in the mood to read’ – Girl in Waterstones

I’m stood there earwigging at these two girls conversation as they blocked the whole bookcase

Then one of them starts saying how she hardly reads anymore because she ‘gets bored’ and ‘has to be in the mood’

I’m just thinking ‘get the f*ck out of the bookstore then or at least move out of my way’

But that conversation gave me some content for today’s Daily Fire.

You can’t rely on your mood to get you where you need to be

You have to do the stuff you don’t want to do when you don’t feel like it in order to hit your goals.

Even if that means reading a book on marketing or how to build the perfect blog or whatever topic you need to learn but it has zero interest to you…

Even if that means going to the gym when you just want to go home and order a Dominos

I could give you 100 more examples but you get the point right?

Soley relying on your mood (or motivation) to get that shit done is like climbing into the back seat of your car and expecting it to get you to work on time.

The point is you have to show up even when the correct mood does not.
