To celebrate a simple life

It is no bad thing to celebrate a simple life
-Bilbo Baggins

When you log into social media and you see everybody flexing

New nails, new cars, new homes, new stocks…
Flex, flex, flex

Everybody just trying to level up, stressing when they can’t keep up, Anxious because they haven’t gained anything to flex on lately

They don’t seem to realise that simply going for a walk in nature or picking up a book and sitting in the garden is very pleasurable, They miss out on the simple things, they miss out on the moments because they are chasing moments instead of living them…

Celebrate a simple life
Its a happy life

Its acceptable to be a sheep

When its acceptable to be a sheep

We humans have a tendency to overthink about the slightest things

We worry and stress even long after the stressor has gone

What purpose does this serve

None

I was on a walk with my brother the other week and we encountered some sheep

The got spooked a little they froze and stared us out then ran off

Then they proceeded to eat some grass and get on with their lives

This is how we should deal with stress

This is the only time its acceptable to be a sheep

PCOS management.

PCOS management.

*This is not a pot about what PCOS is

Although PCOS affects the ovaries, These are just side effects, PCOS originates from the brain.

Management of PCOS is no quick fix, there is no 4-8 week plan to combat it.

The Brain and PCOS

The brain signals the Hypothamolus, Which signals the Pituitary which sends signals out to The thyroid, Adrenals, and ovaries.

Basically, the brain controls your thyroid, reproduction and stress.

There is no one single cause for PCOS and many women aren’t even aware that they have it, But something happens in the brain which then disrupts the ovaries.

Are you prepared for the worst?

Are you prepared for the worst?

“Rehearse them in your mind: exile, torture, war, shipwreck. All the terms of our human lot should be before our eyes.

– Seneca

Bad things happen.

They have and they will continue to happen.

That’s life.

But things could always get worse…

A lot worse.

Yet when things get bad, people tend to look forward, and imagine life getting good, they say I can’t wait for all this to be over.

But what if its never over, or at least not anytime soon.

Then what are you going to do,

Because in my experience positive thinking sets us up for defeat.

We look forward and we hope, and then all of a sudden we are hit with another deviating blow.

But what would happen if we had predicted that blow,
Not with positive thinking but with negative thoughts instead.

Thinking of how things can get worse, how you won’t recover…

In a strange way this is kind of positive thinking, after all when you have predicted the worst… the worst that can happen is what you are expecting and its not devastating if you are already waiting…

Anything else is a bonus.

Prepare for the worst, if you want the best.
