Learn to lose in order to recover

Imitate the trees. Learn to lose in order to recover, and remember nothing stays the same for long’ – May Sarton

In the harshest winters, a tree will look dead, No leaves nothing… But after a harsh winter, that same tree will have the most gloriest spring…

You too will have harsh winters, will feel like you have lost everything… but in the time of struggle remember this is just a season in your life…

This too shall pass

and know that something beautiful is getting ready to spring, That beauty comes deep from within, deep down in your roots, it can’t be seen on the surface.

Don’t let the harsh times defeat you… ‘Nothing stays the same for long’

Persist and Resist

‚ÄúPersist and Resist.” Epictetus

Remember your in this for the long run, till the whistle blows and knowing that you know that every second is yours to use.

You don’t need to worry about the other team, the scoreboard, what who and what have done as long as that clock is ticking you can turn the game around…

By Persisting in your efforts even when things aren’t going so good…

And resisting distractions that stop you from persisting that is the only way we can get ‘so far As I can see no way out but through’ (Yesterday’s post)

The question is what are you going to do about it?

Of course, it could be better, The question is what are you going to do about it – Seth Godin

I don’t know what you do on a day to day, I don’t know whether or not you have a side hustle Or a hobby

but I do know that there is something that you do that could be better.

Becuase what we do can never be perfect, So theres always room for improvment…

Many however when they see that what they are doing isn’t perfect.

They become frustrated and they quit… Because they feel like they are not good enough.

When really all is needed is just a few tweaks and a bit of practice…

Everything could be better…

So make it better

Old and New Can’t Live Together.

Old and New Can’t Live Together.

Ok this isn’t entirely true, if you go to Rome you’ll see ancient history blended into modern-day living and it makes one beautiful city (I think I’ve never been) Old and new clearly can live together there.

When it comes to me and you

Old cannot live with the New.

The old way of doing things and a new way of thinking that is.

You want to achieve that big goal. That requires a new way of thinking.

But thinking alone can’t change anything…

So you have to change the way you do things too,

You can’t want to lose weight, but still, do the things that made you gain the weight in the first place.

You can’t get rich by doing the stuff that got you broke…

Do you want change?

The old way has to be evicted.

Fear Shows You The Quest

Fear Shows You The Quest – Aubrey Marcus

That one thing that keeps eating at you,

That one thing you keep pushing back,

Because the voice inside of you keeps telling you too…

The voice is scared, Scared of Growth.

Silence the voice,

Leave the comforts of the Shire.

Follow your Quest…
