Do you have a time machine?

Do you have a time machine?

So that you can go back in time and change shit.. No So why dwell on it in the present.

(Not a direct quote) But a quote from Kevin Harts the decision.

We can’t go back and change the stuff we have done or haven’t.

So all we can do is accept it, Its happened, we can’t change it, but we can adapt to it in the present.

We can move forward and deal with whatever happened, But not if we cannot accept it.

So let’s stop the feeling sorry for ourselves and make some forward progress

Ship It

Ship It

Ship It was a term used in Seth Godin’s Linchpin book.

It means stop waiting for everything to be perfect, stop trying to connect all the dots and just launch your product. Just publish your blog, Show your art.

It doesn’t matter if its 80% complete or not, Just ship it.

Otherwise, we never will.

Because perfect doesn’t exist, so we’ll always be editing.

So just ship it… Now

Of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these, ‘It might have been

Of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these, ‘It might have been.

John Greenleaf Whittier

Is regret not a death before our time

Knowing that we didn’t do all that we could,

Knowing we could have done more, but we procastinated or talked ourselves out of doing something

Watching the moment slip bye us, whilst we sit in a dark corner pretending we wasn’t that bothered anyway

Whilst inside we have just died.

Do all you can, after all saying it was is alot better than it might have been

It was a good effort even though it didn’t work out
It was a good business
It was a good time.

We need to practice

We don’t become virtuous by reading Epictetus or Seneca, We need to practice – Massimo Pigliucci

Practice, Practice, Practice that’s all we’re doing, all day every day,

The question is what are you practising?

Are you practising what you said you would or are you practising talking or quitting…

Talking about how you’re going to do this and how your going to do that Or quitting this because it didn’t work the first time

Jerry Seinfeld was booed off stage the first time he performed, did he quit… no, He practised
