Familiar Love

Why does love have to get so familiar
One day your blue because you haven’t seen your boo for a few days

The next you’ve had enough of each others ways and hours feel like days

One day you feel like love is out of this world just the thought of seeing each other makes your heart race

The next your just dying for your own space

One day your both perfect for each other and life feels like a dream

The next it feels like You’re being inspected, everything you do is incorrect and now all it seems is you deflect insults that our thrown around

Why does love have to become so familiar
One day you’re lost in a dream
The next its like you’re on rival teams

Back on your way

When you fall
Dust it off and get
Back on your way
Down on the floor is not
Where you want to stay

What does life have in store
For us we don’t know
Anything can happen
On both sides of the door

Don’t be afraid to explore
New things in life
We dont get an encore
Lifes to short to ignore
What our guts tell us to do

Yeah maybe we’ll fall
Maybe we’ll stall
And life throws in a curveball
But when we fall we have to
Dust it off and get back on our way

Cheesecake is Life

Cheesecake is life
Every day a bite
Delicious or sickly
I could eat this all night

Every bite a day
Sometimes it’s just scrumptious
Sometimes it’s a bit tangy
Sometimes its riche
And sometimes its sickly

Yet tangy or sickly
Scrumptious or rich
Its cheesecake
Regardless its delicious

Sometimes you bite off more than you can chew
Sometimes you barely take a bite and let it go to waist
Sometimes you just have the amount that would satisfy goldilocks
Just right

Cheesecake is life
Every day a bite
Delicious or sickly
I could eat this all night

They say you can’t have your cake and eat it too
But cheesecake is beautiful
And I’m taking a bite

Once my spoon comes dry
I will not cry
Because I had my cake
And I ate it too
Cheesecake is beautiful
And life is too

Crying your hear out

Cause all of the stars
Are fading away
Just try not to worry
You’ll see them some day
Take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out

Just try not to worry
I’m one with the stars
I’ve been
And now I’ve gone
So be on your way
Life goes on
There isn’t much more to say

My time wasn’t cut short
My time was just right
I lived a good life
Now I’m one with the stars
I’m immortalized in time

Why would you cry your heart out
Move on, that ain’t the way to live
Just because I’ve faded away
From the life you know
Remember I got to follow lifes flow
Now I’m one with the stars
Immortalized in time

We’re all of us stars
We’re fading away
Just try not to worry
You’ll see us some day
Just take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out

Characters in a play

We all just characters in a play
We have our roles to play
Just acting out each day
Hoping we see another day

But our role is not guaranteed
Our contract might not get renewed
Once the curtain is called
We leave an empty stage for our permanent retirement

Let us act out each day
As if it was our last performance
Because we’re only as good as our last dance
So lete not get stage fright
So we can take our character to new heights
So when the curtain finally gets called
We can call it good night And peacfully retire.
Knowing we performed our hearts out and did our character right

We all just characters in a play
We have our roles to play
Just acting out each day
Hoping we see another day
