Deep in a Mans Heart

Deep in a mans heart are questions that can not be answered in the office or at the kitchen table.

These questions can only be answered out there in life…

Who Am I?

What Am I Made Of?

What Am I Destined For?

These questions and ourselves get suppressed when we are at the office answering questions and hitting deadlines

Fear keeps us at home or in the office. Fear stops us from seeking the answers to those questions.

Yet deep down in the soul we crave them,

The soul cannot be harnessed

The soul doesn’t know of deadlines

The soul only knows passion and a longing for life.

So get out into the world and discover who you are and what you are made of.

You have to build the man

You have to build the man

Garret J White

In order to be the man you have to build the man.

Its frustrating when your not where you want to be.

Its frustrating when you try and start out but its bloody hard

But you can’t become that person until you build that person

So you can sit in frustration
You can quit because its difficult

But you’ll never be that person

You have to do the work

I was ready to give up

I was ready to give up

Undertaker

On the Joe Rogan podcast, The Undertaker tells a story of how he got into wrestling and his first match with a credible company.

He said he would turn up every week to this company’s office, and wait in the lobby hoping to talk to somebody,

Every week on a Wednesday, for 8 months he showed up and nobody talked to him.

He explains he was just about to give up because he was getting nowhere

And this one guy walks in (Doesn’t talk to him) and goes into the office and says we need to give that guy a match (Because he looked like the guy’s late son)

8 Months of being ignored, making no money and getting virtually nowhere.

That’s what success looks like in a world of instant gratification.

In a world where everyone wants 1-hour results.

8 months just to get a shot in the ring (The company didn’t even sign him, they sent him elsewhere.)

Play the long game.

The Mirror

I see my future when I look in your eyes,
There is no doubt that I’m with you forever
Just me and you together.

I look in your eyes and
I can see that it’s only you
That Can make me happy
I can see That it’s only you
Who can cause me pain
I can see that it’s only you
Who can deceive me, Who can Lie to me

I see my future when I look in your eyes,
There is no doubt that I’m with you forever
Just me and you together.

Through the pain,
Through the pleasure
wherever I go
You’ll be there
You’ll be the cause
You’ll be the solution
It’s just me in you

“A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single man contemplates it, bearing within him the image of a cathedral.”

“A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single man contemplates it, bearing within him the image of a cathedral.”

The Little Prince

Remember this when someone puts your dreams and goals down,

When they say you can’t or it can’t be done…

They can’t see what you see

They don’t see the gold medals, they don’t see the we’re open sign, They just see the rock pile.

Stay focused on what you see and let them worry about what they can or cannot see.
