Old and New Can’t Live Together.
Ok this isn’t entirely true, if you go to Rome you’ll see ancient history blended into modern-day living and it makes one beautiful city (I think I’ve never been) Old and new clearly can live together there.
When it comes to me and you
Old cannot live with the New.
The old way of doing things and a new way of thinking that is.
You want to achieve that big goal. That requires a new way of thinking.
But thinking alone can’t change anything…
So you have to change the way you do things too,
You can’t want to lose weight, but still, do the things that made you gain the weight in the first place.
You can’t get rich by doing the stuff that got you broke…
Do you want change?
The old way has to be evicted.
We ought to take outdoor walks, to refresh and raise our spirits by deep breathing in the open air. – Seneca
If there is one solution for many things…
It’s walking, The same was true for the philosophers 2000 years ago (Like Seneca) as it is today…
When we’re stressed, overwhelmed – take a walk.
Stuck on a problem – Go for a walk
Want some space and time to think – Go for a walk
Want to be active…take a walk…
Fancy a walk… go for a walk
In our busy day to day lives, walking gives the time to think, get some open air, away from all the noise, generate new thoughts and relax.
We don’t often get that in our office blocks and busy cities.
Turn your phone off &
Take a walk
Your mind is unclear… When your body is weak as fuck – Garret J White.
Whilst people are on holiday they tend to feel more energised and refreshed…
They get back to reality and feel like they need another one…
They become sluggish again, stressed and soon their minds become clogged and all they think about is coffee, the weekend, sleep and another holiday to feel good again…
It’s not the holiday that made you feel good, Its what you did whilst away…
The chances are you woke up early, did lots of walking, ate some locally sourced foods had a laugh and slept well…
You don’t need a vacation to do those things, You need a decision,
A decision to look after your body, daily…
Go for a walk, eat well, whatever it is, Do it daily … Not just 2 out of 52 weeks a year…

Something happens to the people around you when you start to make a difference in your life,⠀
Especially in your close circle …⠀
The people will either support you or They will try and discourage you, Mock and Laugh at what you’re doing and then try and pull you back into your old ways and habits…⠀
The latter are assholes… But it’s not entirely there fault,⠀
