Fantasy can become reality.
And reality becomes boring.
Are you bored right now, Bored with your phone, your car, your house, your job, your business, your partner…
Those things that one day was just a fantasy. Those things that you worked your ass off. We go through these phases in life where we just get boarded with reality. But it wasn’t always a reality.
Look back to where you were before you had this stuff and compare it to where you are now.
Look how far you’ve come.
Take that in for a moment, because it’s easy to push for the next target and the next.
But if you don’t appreciate then your on a never-ending treadmill.
Escaping to fantasy land is great because in galaxies far far away sometimes the little guys win
In fantasy lands it’s ok to overthrow the big guys and everyone lives happily ever after.
Fantasy lands obviously aren’t real and we eventually have to return to reality
In reality it’s not as easy as it is in a videogame or book
But we can still achieve greatness
It might not be with a ring or a wand, we might not have the force
But we have each other, we have access to pretty much any information we ever need (although this is also an issue). We have all the tools we ever need to create are own fantasy in reality.
Create your own iron throne.
Chasing Unicorns 2
Many moons ago I wrote a post about Chasing Unicorns and how they are mythological and we could never have them (or the unicorn equivalent say dream body) and that we should do something useful instead of fantasising.
Which is true.
But I recently stumbled across an old Instagram post of three books (The first three I ever bought) I had never really read before them and really struggled to read them tbh.
I would never have thought I would have read over a 100 in a lifetime and looking at my bookshelf now, back then this would have been me chasing a unicorn.
Over time, when we work at something that we thought impossible we can achieve.
So go chase that Unicorn but actually do the work instead of fantasy.
