Thank you for exposing me

Thank you for exposing me

2020 as we know wasn’t the best year…

I had some ups and downs but funny enough I got to travel more in 2020 than I have any other year

Most of us are glad to see the end of it,

But after some reflection
I’m grateful that it happened

It exposed me
It left me vulnerable
And I know that I’m not as strong as I thought I was…

It’s easy to be resistant in easy times
It’s easy to have a positive mind in good times

But we never truly know what we are made of until the shit turns sideways

I know I have work to do.

Thank you 2020.

When it’s not on your doorstep

When it’s not on your doorstep

What do you do?

Do you wait until another event rolls around closer to you or do you travel the distance.

I’ve been to several events 100s of miles away from where I live, long train or coach journeys, hotels etc.

At the same time in Facebook groups I see people asking will this event be in X place or y place…

Because they don’t want to travel.

Yet even if it was on there doorstep, would they go?

I don’t know… but the question is if its really worth something to you

How far are you willing to go?

Because the battles we fight are on the inside

I call myself a Peaceful Warrior because the battles we fight are on the inside

  • Socrates

The battles may be internal, Stress, Depression, Loneliness, Anxiety etc. But they could be caused by external events,

Actually, during researching and writing an ebook on depression I realised that mostly they are caused by externals, The way with live today is so different than what we evolved from but our underwiring is still same,

Having a Philosophy can help but if you don’t turn the gas off, your probably not going to stop the fire.
