Level Down, So you can level up
I know I wrote this post a few weeks back (Where in your world do you need to level up)
And this post is more the opposite, Where do you need to level down.
Because we all want to accomplish so much, So we take on too much and accomplish nothing.
We try to help others, Try and do five things at once and we become overwhelmed and drained, then do nothing.
Somewhere in your world, you need to Cut back on, So you can level up elsewhere, where it will make a difference to your life, SO you can make a difference in other lives as well.
You can’t do everything and in trying you’ll do nothing.
For those familiar with dating apps, You’ll know it’s all about getting a match now,
Meaning you both swipe right on each other, which allows you to message one and another.
But just because you have a match, does mean you have a date, a partner or even an F-buddy if that’s what you’re after,
There is still a lot of work to be done.
The same is applied in business or even in health
Just because you have a new lead does not mean you have a new customer,
Just because you have a gym membership does not mean you are fit and healthy…
We need to work, and work hard to convert our matches into something,
And a lot of the time they amount to nothing (In my experience anyway :/)
Energy is no quick fix.
Neither is anything worth attaining in life.
I’ve been frustrated lately with the fact that I’m always tired no matter how much sleep I get. Venting my frustration whilst journaling I concluded that,
Energy isn’t a quick fix.
Getting a little bit of extra sleep isn’t going to fix my energy issues, nor is a Redbull.
Energy (Like anything in life) needs constant work, Like getting proper meals in consistently, along with exercise and sleep.
Then and only then I will see energy improvements.
It’s the small things we do daily that will give us the best returns on our investments
Not the quick 250ml cans.
Lets put the work in.
