You can choose choices

You can choose choices but not outcomes
– The midnight library.

Outcomes are out of our control, we don’t know what’s going to happen, we cant predict what’s going to happen.

Choices though are ours. We can choose to go left or right, not to do or to do.

No matter what we choose there will be some outcome somewhere down the line that will be out of our control.

Even if we choose to do nothing there will be a consequence to that.

So today when it comes to making one of many choices, remember that no matter what something will be out of your control
But you made the choice, so regardless of the outcome, own it because there is no point in regretting the choice you made, after all there will be many more you have to make

How much does it take to change?

How much does it take to change?

They say, people don’t change
Or that it’s hard to change…

But I disagree.
It doesn’t take alot to change.

Change can happen from the smallest things.

Maybe something someone said that clicked with you.

Or a book.

I know many peoples lives had changed simply from reading a book.

And they have completely changed there lives around.

It doesn’t take a lot to change.

It just requires doing something different

To fight against the darkness

To fight against the darkness is to win

It’s hard
You cant see
It feels like you are carrying the world and more
Your fighting internal battles
And external ones to
Every angle you can’t see an escape

But whatever you do
Dont surrender to the darkness
Dont give up
Keep fighting
The more you fight, the more you push the darkness back,
Eventually you’ll start to see light
But only if you keep fighting.

Defeat the darkness.

When it’s not on your doorstep

When it’s not on your doorstep

What do you do?

Do you wait until another event rolls around closer to you or do you travel the distance.

I’ve been to several events 100s of miles away from where I live, long train or coach journeys, hotels etc.

At the same time in Facebook groups I see people asking will this event be in X place or y place…

Because they don’t want to travel.

Yet even if it was on there doorstep, would they go?

I don’t know… but the question is if its really worth something to you

How far are you willing to go?

Failure is for reflection

Failure is for reflection

It’s easy to go into self destruct mode when we fail at something.

We think of all the things that made us stupid, we think of how everything could of gone better, then we just beat ourselves up.

This is not healthy, it won’t change anything and you will not improve in the future

Look at what went wrong, but without the self destruction

Yeah my speech could have gone better so I’ll practice more in the future

Not your bad at speeches you should quit your not worthy of anything.

Lift yourself up, dont drag yourself down
