To fight against the darkness is to win
You cant see
It feels like you are carrying the world and more
Your fighting internal battles
And external ones to
Every angle you can’t see an escape
But whatever you do
Dont surrender to the darkness
Dont give up
The more you fight, the more you push the darkness back,
Eventually you’ll start to see light
But only if you keep fighting.
Defeat the darkness.
When it’s not on your doorstep
What do you do?
Do you wait until another event rolls around closer to you or do you travel the distance.
I’ve been to several events 100s of miles away from where I live, long train or coach journeys, hotels etc.
At the same time in Facebook groups I see people asking will this event be in X place or y place…
Because they don’t want to travel.
Yet even if it was on there doorstep, would they go?
I don’t know… but the question is if its really worth something to you
How far are you willing to go?
People say they don’t give a fuck, or we tell people not to give one
But its not that you shouldn’t give a fuck
Because you should
But it’s to give less fucks about everything and focus more fucks on the things that matter
Like who cares what the Kardashians are doing they don’t really deserve a fuck
When you could be focusing those fucks on say your health, or caring for a loved one
Some things need more energy than others and some things just drain time and energy and results in waisted fucks
Give a fuck
But only on the important things
Fuck the rest
We see things they’ll never see
We as a species are social creatures and we got here by working together,
Working alone we probably wouldn’t have made it this far and if we did we probably wouldn’t be top of the food chain.
We look out for each other, we keep eachother safe in modern times we help each other grow, point out each others mistakes.
Together we can go further
It’s got us this far
You can’t know if your going to enjoy an experience until you experience it.
You can’t know
And we talk ourselves out of doing things we think we won’t enjoy, yet we dont truly know we wouldn’t until we tried
Some of my best experiences were doing things I didn’t want to do
Some of my best achievements I almost talked myself out of doing
Why because of some little voice in our heads?
Just try something new
You might love it, you might not
