Perfection blocks us from pretty much anything we do in life,

I remember when I thought about starting this blog and I said to myself I’ll wait until I am a successful businessman till I start writing (Lol) because then it will be perfect

That would have been many years of writing not done

I always hear people say they’ll wait until they lose weight before they go to the gym < like what?

There is no such thing as writers block or gym block or anything block the only thing that is blocking us is that we want everything to be perfect

And nothing is
So nothing is done

Allow yourself to be bad

Getting Stuck is Normal But Winners Grow Anyway

Some of us choose to stay stuck

And I say choose because getting stuck is a choice

Its excuses over action

Rather than looking for a way around

When you decide you dont want to be stuck rather than just saying you dont want to be stuck then you can grow

And that problem becomes a possibility

Nothing Days

Nothing Days

We think of the days when we have that big exam, or wedding days or something really important as the days that define us

But the days that define us are the nothing days, when we dont have a lot on,

What we do in those days they are what define and make us

Not the 2 weeks before a holiday but the 300 days of nothing when you train those days

When you read and study not for the exam bit just for you

When you practice your craft for the sake of practice

Or when you stay in bed when you literally do nothing

Everything we do defines us…

Choose Your Pain

Long term reward normally has a short term pain…

For example I have Exercise induced asthma which is a weird combonation because long term, Exercise helps manage the asthma but short term after a run for example it causes a bit of a choughing fit.

On the other end of the scale we have short term pleasure which normally resulys in long term pain if repeated.

Lets go for a weird example and say someone starts watching porn (In a relatiobship) which as a one off or on occasion isnt an issue but if the porn watching contines, you get the short term pleasure of the quick relese, but the long term pain is that the porn starts interfearing with the intamacy between you and your partner…

The sex life is compromised and then the relationship starts to fall apart…

Where as if they went through the short term pain of not masterbating for one night so they had the sexual desire for their partner the next this would result in long term reward (Providing that the rest of the relationship was spot on)

Obvisioly a bit of short term pleasure every now and then isn’t an issue but eventually you have to decide what you want for the rest of your life, becuse which ever one you choose the long term is geting effected.

Level Down, So you can level up

I know I wrote this post a few weeks back (Where in your world do you need to level up)

And this post is more the opposite, Where do you need to level down.

Because we all want to accomplish so much, So we take on too much and accomplish nothing.

We try to help others, Try and do five things at once and we become overwhelmed and drained, then do nothing.

Somewhere in your world, you need to Cut back on, So you can level up elsewhere, where it will make a difference to your life, SO you can make a difference in other lives as well.

You can’t do everything and in trying you’ll do nothing.
