You can’t know if your going to enjoy an experience until you experience it.
You can’t know
And we talk ourselves out of doing things we think we won’t enjoy, yet we dont truly know we wouldn’t until we tried
Some of my best experiences were doing things I didn’t want to do
Some of my best achievements I almost talked myself out of doing
Why because of some little voice in our heads?
Just try something new
You might love it, you might not
Your head is not an island
Have you ever just thought ‘my head is fucked’
Like thoughts all over the place, stressing for no reason and just being pure negative
Then you start thinking what the hell is wrong with me, why am I like this.
You start blaming the fact that you have a negative mindset and that your head is fucked.
But you fail to notice when your Blaming your head the way your lifestyle has been lately
You’ve not been eating properly, you stopped exercising and your not even walking as much,
You’ve been stressed at work, your not getting meaningful connections out of your relationships because your too distracted
All this adds up
Your head is not an island, everything you do has an effect on how you think and feel, the things you do internally and externally
Your not broken and your head is not fucked everything you do is connected.
Take a step back, have a think about all the things that can be causing these feelings and make a plan to get back to reality

Procrastination will kill you faster than a natural death, I know I’m a master procrastinator,
I put off things for weeks/months, I started editing a book and saw a note I left in it that said its Feb 2020 at the time of editing, 8 months later still not done
I could be in a lot better shape, I could be a lot smarter, I might even still be in a relationship if I did the stuff I knew I should.
We need to snap out of this distraction mentality Because it stops us from living.
Your order is on it’s way
I told myself I wasn’t going to buy any more books until I have finished some of my ever growing to be read pile
But when I’m tired like very tired, doing anything takes a lot of effort so I I browse Amazon
And before I know it my book pile is even bigger
Because when I’m tired I lack discipline.
But observing this I can now work out a plan to stop or at least know I’m about to do it and uninstall the app or something.
It pays to know what your triggers are so you can work out a plan to counteract them
Not for everyone
Anything that has a positive effect on someone
Will not be the same for everyone
The same with a negative effect,
Some will get positive
Psychedelic drugs can have very positive effects on some people reducing depression and anxiety
Others it will cause panic attacks and other side effects
A weight loss program will work for some and not others
The solution to one will be a problem for another
Not everything in life is for everyone
Something didn’t work for someone, dont let them tell you it won’t for you
And if it didn’t work for you, dont tell someone else they can’t do it.
