Of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these, ‘It might have been

Of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these, ‘It might have been.

John Greenleaf Whittier

Is regret not a death before our time

Knowing that we didn’t do all that we could,

Knowing we could have done more, but we procastinated or talked ourselves out of doing something

Watching the moment slip bye us, whilst we sit in a dark corner pretending we wasn’t that bothered anyway

Whilst inside we have just died.

Do all you can, after all saying it was is alot better than it might have been

It was a good effort even though it didn’t work out
It was a good business
It was a good time.
