Dreams weigh more than excuses

Dreams weigh more than excuses
But is that really true
We throw the dueces up to our dreams that what it seems,
But excuses we keep coming back to

Dreams come and we let them go
Faster than the next thought that flows
But excuses they hold us down,
They prie on our pride
There a place we can hide
But deep down we know we let ourselves down
That thought never goes

We throw the dueces up to our dreams that what it seems,
But excuses we keep coming back to

Our dreams are great until we realise they require work
They lurk in our minds for a while
But were not willing to do the legwork

We throw the dueces up to our dreams that what it seems,
But excuses we keep coming back to, But excuses we keep coming back to, But excuses we keep coming back to
