Our imaginations play tricks on us, they make us out to be far weaker than what we are

We imagine something and think I couldn’t do that, so we avoid doing things that could get us in that situation

Yet when we find ourselves in a similar situation we handle it quite well and realise that we are far more capable than we thought

I’m a really quiet introvert you know the shy type so I never thought I would work at festivals as security

Until I found myself by myself having to ask a group of 20+ drunk people to move from a restricted area

If I had imagined that scenario I wouldn’t of come out ok, I would have been beaten up or something crazy…

The reality was they laughed, invited me to dance (I refused) then they went no worries and left

Reality is awesome we’re quite strong there so maybe we should spend more time in it
