Trying to find a place to eat Spain was hard (Because I was accompanied by one of those vegetarians… Robyn)

If the menu wasn’t in English we couldn’t eat there because the 1st night we were in Spain her vegetarian noodles were served with meat…

After what felt like a lifetime of trying to translate and two full bowls of rice well by the time we got some vegetarian noodles she was no longer hungry…

So we had to play it extra safe…

(Extra safe = walking around for hours in the heat looking at every single menu finding one that was in English and two served veggie stuff)

Level Up Your Life (2)

The Spanish love their meaty dishes so when we did find an English menu, We would sit down and I would start to find something I really liked, work up an appetite then look up to an unsatisfied face, put the menu down and start hunting for another restaurant…

**(Stomach growls)**

There was however a Tapas bar or restaurant on every corner sometimes two and three…

Finding Tapas wasn’t hard…

It was in fact so easy that you didn’t actually fancy tapas and if you did, you probably wouldn’t after you tried to decide which Tapas restaurant you actually eat in,

Because they were all similarly priced, all similarly decorated, had the same menu and all had someone stood outside shoving a menu in your face like you haven’t read the last 25 on the same strip…

Purchasing Behaviour… Why do people (and you) buy

I bought the book Rich Dad Poor Dad because my now business partner recommended it to me,

I follow Paul Mort and Garret J White because I friend recommended Paul Mort’s podcast to me, and Paul Mort Recommends Garret J White (Wake up Warrior) I have bought both their books and subscribed to their services.

I founded the Philosophy Stoicism because of Jade Teta (From Metabolic Effect and Now Next Level Human) and also one of my favourite authours Ryan Holiday because Jade was sharing photos of Ryan Holidays Daily Stoic Book on Instagram,

Guess how I found Jade (Well Metabolic Effect)… A friends recommendation,

There’s a little cafe in Arnside that was recommended to me by a colleague, I love it and recommend it to everyone (More on that in a minute…)

People used to pull out the Yellow pages when they wanted a plumber, or a decorator or a cleaning service… Now they post on Facebook ‘Does anyone know a….’

If a close friend or family member comments back with a recommendation they will probably go for the one they recommended.

The point –
People purchase based on recommendations, Why do people recommend… Because of service,

Look after your customers and give them a reason to come back and they will but with an Army of friends whom if you do your job will tell their friends too…

Seth Godin Calls them sneezers

When someone sneezes they spread their germs and before you know it the whole class has a cold…

The same principle applies for your book, restaurant, business whatever If you provide your customers with something to talk about they will…

Rich Dad Poor Dad changed my life, I now recommend or buy this book for other people too read, if the book was just ok, I wouldn’t have…

The rule applies for bad service too, If you find a toe in your sushi you ain’t going back, neither is anyone else because you would have told them, put it on social media, people would share it and tell their friends… That’s a germ you don’t want to spread.

The Purple Cow…

Seth Godin (You see what I’m doing here, I’m sneezing) in his book the Purple Cow you need something to talk about…

Like a purple cow… You see cows daily but not purple ones…

Just like the Tapas Bars in Spain, they’re ordinary cows they’re everywhere…

But this restaurant in Spain… Nikki Beach they had a purple cow…

No sorry, I lie they had a fricking boat!

Some workout classes going on at the beach, with people going whoowhoo and all that,

They were so different that we actually thought they were a Hotel.

Nope, a restaurant with workout classes and a Boat! I never even ate there but I’m talking about it, I remember the name.

Then there’s my little favourite cafe in Arnside…

I don’t normally eat in cafes, If I do I don’t normally talk about them but this little cafe (That was recommended to me)

Moochin About,

I go to it everytime I’m in the area, I’ve bought another colleague to it and I find myself talking about it to my family on more than one occasion…

‘I get to go to my fav Lil cafe today…’

It’s not like a normal cafe…

The food is fresh for a start…

Its smaller than most, You sometimes have to share a table with other people, Its normally the place where A Lil introvert like me would avoid…

But it works, The owners are great and the Hot Chocolate is really good,

The Owners look after you too, and provide you with excellent service
And that’s why I always find myself talking about the little Jazz place.

The moral is When creating your product, delivering a service, showing your art,

Provide excellent service, Stand Out A little bit (or a lot) and Let the sneezers do the rest,
