The original quote by Milton Berle –
‘If Opportunity Doesn’t Knock Build a Door’
But this to me implies that you already have a door, and if nobody has knocked on that one then building another door won’t help.
In fact, that’s just active procrastination.
If you want a job but your waiting for someone to ring you instead of applying then you ain’t getting that job
If you want to win a powerlifting competition but you’re waiting for the competition to come to you then your never going to win…
If you want to lose weight but your waiting for a personal trainer to knock on your door your not going to lose the weight…
You need to enter the competition, you need to go to where the competition is at and then you have the chance to win…
Don’t procrastinate, Don’t wait for the opportunity to come to you
It won’t matter how many doors you have built… Nobodys going to knock.
Don’t Build a Door.
